Can you explain what a Moon in Taurus means in Course 1, in plain words?
Yes — in Joni's Course 1 lesson on the Moon, she describes Taurus Moon as the grounded mind. The Moon is exalted there, which means comfort, steadiness, and a love of beauty and food come naturally. Want me to quote the exact passage and link the 5‑minute clip?
Yes please. Then quiz me.

Vedic VS Western Astrology
Ever read your horoscope and thought "this isn't quite me"?
It often comes down to the system. Vedic astrology — also called Jyotish, meaning "the science of light" — aligns to the sky as it actually is tonight, not the sky of two thousand years ago. That single difference changes nearly everything the chart has to say about you.

THE CURRICULUM
Six courses, taken at the pace of your life.
Each course carries eight video lessons. The first five conclude with a tutor‑graded exam; the sixth is seven case assignments and a live reading with Joni. Classes run year‑round — join any course, any time.
With over 45 years of experience, Joni gives personal consultations to world leaders and A‑list celebrities. She has served on the faculty of ACVA and CVA, and is the leading instructor for online certification programs in Vedic astrology.
She has published more than fourteen books, gathered over 500 million views across social platforms, and lives in Dallas, Texas — where she continues to teach, write and mentor.
You get all the answers with a reading from an astrologer from time to
time — but nothing beats understanding all the life answers through your
own comprehension.

I've taken lectures from easily over half a dozen teachers, and yours is
the best. Thank you for bringing home what I have been missing all these
years. The framework, and how you build upon foundations, is excellent.

Even though I have studied astrology for many years, there is no ceiling
to this science. There are always new ways of looking at the planets, and
here I have expanded my understanding of Vedic astrology tenfold.

Common questions
What people ask before enrolling
Five of the questions that come up most often. There are twenty-six more on the full FAQ.
Do I need prior experience with astrology to start?
None. Semester 1 starts from the chart itself — what the planets, signs and houses are and how they work together. Most students arrive knowing a little Western astrology or nothing at all, and both work fine.
How is the certification structured?
Six semesters of eight items each — 47 classes plus a final exam. The first five semesters each end with a test your tutor grades. Semester six is supervised by your tutor as you complete your assignments and a live reading, and Joni conducts the final exam herself.
Is the programme self-paced or scheduled?
Both. Classes are hosted on Thinkific, so you can watch them and take your tests anytime, on any device. If you follow the live group cohort, each semester takes about 8 weeks with short breaks built in — but you are free to go faster or slower on your own schedule.
What kind of support do I get along the way?
Real human tutors, paired with you to answer questions and grade your tests — no automated grading. Live webinars with Joni every other week, covering current events and open Q&A, recorded for anyone who cannot attend live. And a peer community on Telegram, connecting you with classmates around the world.
How much does the certification cost?
Each semester is $1,297. Taken one at a time, the six semesters come to $7,782. The full-certification bundle is $6,485 — a saving of $1,297, effectively one semester free.
